Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. We recognize that and want to make your time with us enjoyable. Here are a few things you can expect when attending Brandon Community...
Park anywhere you'd like! There are no reserved spaces at Brandon - don't worry about that.
Someone will greet you at the door with a smile, and hand you a bulletin.
Coffee and refreshments are usually plentiful at the welcome center in the lobby. Help yourself and let someone know if there's anything missing.
Dress however you'd like. Clothing is required but beyond that, there is no dress code. What's important is that you are there and feel welcome.
During the service we will take an offering before the sermon. Do not feel obligated to give - giving is for our members and regular attenders who are asked to give generously to help fund the ministries of Brandon Community. You can certainly give if you would like; however, that is not necessary.
If you have kids, know that there is a nursery available if you need to change a diaper. Kids are in the service until the sermon, when they go to kid's church and have a lesson of their own.
We serve communion each Sunday after the sermon and before a closing time of prayer. Everyone who recognizes their need for Jesus is welcome to receive communion at Brandon Community - you don't need to be a member or anything like that.
